Meet The Team

Dr Henning Schaeper
GP Partner

State Exam Med (Giessen,1994) – Male

Dr Schaeper is from Berlin, Germany. He graduated from Giessen University in 1994, and went on to train as a Specialist in General Internal Medicine in Berlin.
In 2004 he and his wife decided to “spend a year” in England with their young children. They never went back. He enjoys his move into General Practice and has been a Partner at Bersted Green Surgery since 2007. Based on his background in Internal Medicine he has a particular interest in Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease.
He lives locally in Felpham with his wife and three children. Apart from his native German he speaks a basic bit of Spanish, French and Farsi (Iranian).

Dr Beth Meek
GP Partner

MBChB (Dundee 1998), MRCGP, PG Cert – Female

Dr Meek graduated from Dundee university in 1998 and then moved to Middlesbrough to do GP training. She worked as a GP in Darlington before moving to Sussex and joining Bersted Green surgery as a partner in 2007. She has maintained her interest in end of life care throughout her GP career and currently works for the Coastal West Sussex CCG as clinical lead for end of life care.

Dr Frank Frizelle
GP Partner

MBBChBAO (University College Dublin 2005) MRCGP – Male

Dr Frizelle graduated from UCD in Dublin in 2005 and completed his GP training in Edinburgh in 2011. He relocated to West Sussex in 2011 and has been a partner at Bersted Green since 2013. Dr Frizelle works one afternoon a week in The Old Glassworks in Chichester, providing GP care for the homeless community. He is married with 2 young sons.

Dr Rophina Yeld
GP Partner

MBBS, MRCGP, DRCOG, DFFP – Female

Qualified from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in 1987. Have worked as a full time GP in West Sussex since 1991. Married with three grown up children. Outside of work I like to do running, gardening, sewing and photography. Clinical interest areas are prescribing, musculo-skeletal medicine and care of the elderly.

Dr Mark Weeks
Salaried GP

MB, BS (London 1983), DA – Male

Dr Weeks qualified at the London Hospital in Whitechapel in 1984. He worked in A&E then anaestetitics for 3 years before doing obstetrics and gynaecology and paediatrics. He completed his GP trainee year in Southbourne. In 2000 Dr Weeks took a sabbatical from Bersted Green and worked in Western Australia for 6 months. This was a mixture of remote and rural medicine, working in hospitals and in primary care settings. Mark is married and has three sons.

Dr Miranda Bradley
Salaried GP

Female

Dr Bradley qualified at St George’s Hospital Medical School in 2007 and completed her GP training in Greenwich in 2012. She moved to the south coast a few years later and has been working at Bersted Green Surgery since 2019. 
Dr Bradley has a special interest in women’s health and family planning. She is married with 3 sons. 

Dr Nicola Huntington
Salaried GP

MBChB (Birmingham), DRCOG, DFFP, MRCGP, DPD, MSc Dermatology – Female

Dr Huntington works one day per week in the surgery and specialises in Women’s health, contraception and sexual health and dermatology. She work 3 days per week at St Mary’s hospital in Portsmouth as a specialty doctor in dermatology performing surgery and treating conditions such as acne, psoriasis and skin cancers; and also works in a specialist vulval dermatology clinic.

Non-urgent advice:

The practice has been approved by the Medical Deanery for certain areas of medical education. From time to time the practice will have medical students, junior doctors and fully qualified doctors who may have had a career break.
